Faces Route of Buendía, Nature & Art Combined

The Faces Route of Buendía is a 2 km circular trail featuring over 18 sandstone sculptures—from busts to symbols—set among pine forests beside the Buendía reservoir.

Trail Details

Easy 1-hour loop, well signposted with picnic tables at the start. Sculptures range from 1 to 8 m tall, inspired by pre-Columbian and Oriental motifs.

How to get there


Buendía es un municipio de la provincia de Cuenca, próximo a Madrid. Una vez en el pueblo, seguimos una serie de carteles situados en el núcleo urbano que nos llevarán hasta un camino que nos conducirá hasta La Ruta de las Caras. Justo antes del inicio de la ruta hay una zona de aparcamiento donde podemos dejar el coche.
