La Regalina Field, Spectacular Views of the Asturian Coast

The Campo de La Regalina in Cadavedo (Asturias) offers one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the Cantabrian coast. Surrounded by ancient granaries and colonial mansions, this vantage point is a natural balcony over rugged cliffs and the sea.
La Regalina Chapel
Built in 1931 by Father Galo, the small chapel houses the image of the Virgin of Riégala, whose statue tradition claims was found in a tree trunk beside a spring.
Scenic & Nature
- Views: cliffs, wild beaches and the Cantabrian horizon.
- Granary: traditional Asturian hórreo beside the chapel.
- Flora & fauna: green meadows dotted with heather and soaring seabirds.
Indianos & Hórreos
Cadavedo is known for its stone-and-wood hórreos and the elegant “casas de indianos” built by returnee emigrants.

The last Sunday of August, the field comes alive for the Festival of La Regalina, a regional tourist event with traditional costumes, bagpipes, folk dance and a grand country feast.
